Ferienwohnung Wunderlich

At €63 a night, the fairly large apartment felt like good value, and parking in the courtyard was free. It was very clean, with a fairly recently renovated bathroom. The furniture is old-fashioned but works, and the kitchen has everything you need. Tropical Islands is only 5 km away, though there isn't much else around; even the nearest small bakery is 5 km away. Without a car, you're out of luck.

We had a lovely time in the garden, and the owner was really friendly. There's a parking space too. The apartment is spacious, has everything you need, and the bathroom is modern. There are a few things to do nearby, including Tropical Islands and kayaking on the surrounding waters.

The landlady was very nice, and the new bathroom was a big plus, really clean. The place has a bit of GDR charm and newer, inexpensive furniture. We found the double bed much too soft, while the sofa bed was cramped for two and rock hard. There was also quite a bit of dirt around the old door thresholds and in the corners. It was okay for one night, but we wouldn't want to stay longer.

The breakfast was generous and thoughtfully prepared, and we even got to enjoy a welcome coffee with our very warm and hospitable host. Everything was spotless, and we felt at home right away. We stayed with Ms. Wunderlich from June 8th to 9th, 2017, and wished we could have stayed longer, but didn't have the time. We'd happily come back.
