Bodensee Hotel Sonnenhof

Breakfast had plenty of choices, whether you wanted vegetarian food, fish, or meat, and the restaurant also had a good wine list featuring local brands plus cocktails. The staff were really nice. Our room was clean and very pleasant, and the swimming pool was warm and spotless.

The hotel's well placed for day trips by car or boat, and since you're nearby, you could even take an airship ride. We only stayed two nights and really enjoyed it. We weren't in the main building because the tour operator had booked us elsewhere, so next time I'll reserve a lake view room. The garden and veranda have great views, parking was easy, the food was very good, and the rooms were perfect. Dinner service was a little slow, my only small complaint.

The spa was great, and we enjoyed being there for the location. Our rooms felt quite basic for the price, but we still liked our stay.

The balcony was the highlight of our huge suite, with an incredible view over the lake. There was plenty of space and every convenience we could think of, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially with our two young children. The hotel itself has amazing lake views. Breakfast was the best we've ever come across, with an enormous selection, and the coffee was lovely too. Thanks for such a fantastic stay.
