After riding 55km on a hot day, we were told not to drink the tap water. For two of us, there was just one .5L bottle of sparkling water at room temperature. The attached restaurant sold still water for 7 Euro/L, and there wasn't a nearby shop where we could buy more at a reasonable price. We left after a terrible night's sleep, dehydrated and covered in mosquito bites. I wouldn't recommend staying here in summer. There's no A/C, and the room was unbearably hot. Mosquitoes were everywhere, but only one window had a screen, so we could open just that one.

The sailing and motorboat lessons were VERY well organized. Werner taught me sailing, and he was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Even in high winds, I felt comfortable because he stayed calm, gave clear instructions, and had everything under control. Daniel was my motorboat instructor and was just as competent and professional. The hotel was extremely clean and the staff very friendly. Breakfast had all the usual staples. The restaurant was a great place for lunch between lessons, with friendly, funny staff and a really nice atmosphere. I'll definitely come back and recommend it!

The Argentinian steak at Restaurant Ahoi was great, and choosing its size was pretty much the only decision to make. The apple strudel was delicious, as it should be in Germany. Restaurant Ahoi is nicely set in the yacht club marina, and the place itself is worth the money. A full meal with a couple of beers was €40, very reasonable for somewhere like this.
