Das Eifelfels

The house was spotless, with beautifully finished bathrooms, tastefully furnished bedrooms, and roomy, comfortable living spaces. Everything we needed was there, even little things we rarely find in a holiday home. We came for a family weekend and felt welcome right away. The owners are so warm and have clearly put a lot of care into making guests feel at home. The location was fantastic too. We’d happily return and wholeheartedly recommend the house and its hosts.

The balcony grill, garden, and chance to use the sauna were lovely extras. We also appreciated the brochures with outing ideas, sights, and restaurant and cafe suggestions left in the house. We stayed as a family in this modern, stylish apartment and felt at home straight away. It was spotless and thoughtfully designed. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and with three bathrooms, two with showers, there was plenty of room for everyone. We’d gladly recommend it and might come back ourselves in a few years.

The lake is about a ten-minute uphill walk away, and the location works well for outdoor activities. The facilities are excellent, and Ms. Mertens was helpful and easy to reach.

There’s plenty to explore nearby, with something for the whole family, and we had the vacation we’d always hoped for. The house has lovely valley views in a beautiful part of the Eifel region, and it’s comfortable throughout. The rooms each felt like a dream, with a cozy feel and a touch of a hotel. Everything was spotless and so well equipped, from sparkling water at the tap and music controls throughout the house to a hallway tablet and luxurious bathrooms. My family and I highly recommend it. If you’re after a beautiful holiday home, this place is a great fit.
