Great service at an awesome hotel.

Those pillows were unbelievably comfortable. I’ve never slept so well on a pillow, and we even bought some at reception. The fireplace lounge was also a nice place to unwind in the evening, with lots of drinks to choose from. The room was spacious and nicely furnished. Ours was on the first floor. There’s no elevator, but that wasn’t an issue for us since we’re younger, and I think help would be available if needed. Parking was plentiful and charged at what seemed a fair rate. Reception gave us a friendly, helpful welcome and mentioned that restaurants close at 9 pm, which was important to know. Breakfast was enough for us, though anyone expecting something extraordinary like at a huge hotel might find it limited. It was still really good for normal expectations. If you’re vegetarian and want scrambled eggs without bacon, ask the staff and they’ll serve them separately, which was great. I can’t say anything about the sauna since it’s not for me. The hotel and location probably aren’t aimed at younger people, but I still thought it was great.

The fireplace lounge was lovely for relaxing in the evening, with a broad choice of drinks, and the sauna area is fantastic. We felt very comfortable here. The staff were friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel.

A cocktail at the bar or by the pool is a lovely way to finish the day 🙂. The welcome was warm, and the breakfast buffet was fantastic, with everything you could want.
