Die Krabbe von Greetsiel

The house is stylish and quiet, just outside town, with the center an easy few minutes away on foot. We felt at home there, and our days were a real pleasure. The owner quickly sorted out a small mishap when we arrived, which we appreciated. Our ground-floor room was tastefully furnished with lovely decorative touches, and everything was clean and well cared for. There was a clean garage for our e-bikes, and we could choose from parking spaces that were plenty large enough. A small coffee machine in the anteroom was handy. The breakfast room was lovely, and we could use it during the day and evening too, so we played a few rounds of Rummikub there. Cold drinks were available from the fridge in the foyer. From the first phone inquiry through booking and the confirmation email, everything was easy and friendly. We were welcomed warmly on arrival and greeted with a friendly “Good morning” each day. Breakfast suited us well, and the coffee was very good. I hope I can stay here again on a future vacation.

The Krabbe is easily the best hotel my family and I have stayed in around Greetsiel. The service is excellent, and you can see how much care and love goes into the place. Breakfast is delicious too. The town is only five minutes away, and there’s a lovely swimming lake about a ten-minute walk from the hotel. I come once a year now and wish I could visit more often.

The breakfast buffet was fresh, plentiful, and nicely presented, with lots of fruit and homemade jams to choose from. Our hostess and the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our week there, and they always had useful suggestions for excursions. It’s a small, cozy hotel in a quiet residential area, furnished with care. The room was bright and lovely, and the whole building was clean and well maintained.
