Never again. The host left me a negative Airbnb review after I complained that the accommodation was very damp and the small caravan was crawling with spiders, some quite large, including in the bed. I cut my stay short because spiders were crawling over my face at night. The host said this was normal in nature. Terrible host.

Unfortunately, the shower stays cold, and the toilet is extremely cramped. The doorway is only about 50-60 cm wide, so anyone with a belly can’t get through.

NEIN, not recommended. The conditions are a disaster. It smells musty and moldy, and parts of the floor are rotten. The bathroom is awful, with no room at all. The toilet isn’t secure, so you can tip over with it. You can’t expect anyone to put up with this.

I still think back fondly on my stay the March before last. The caravan was cozy and lovingly furnished, with books above the bed, and I felt like I was in a romantic picture book. The owners are really nice, and I even enjoyed sitting outside in the idyllic spot by the caravan. I’d love to return this summer. By bike, you can easily reach the dike, the Pilsen lighthouse, and a lovely beach a little farther south. There’s good shopping to the north, and just around the corner in the village is a fantastic pizzeria where some regulars chat in Low German. Sadly, you can’t take bikes on the bus.
