The landlords were very helpful, and the holiday apartment was spotless. When the TV broke, they replaced it right away with a new, modern, large one. It’s a shame the mill café is permanently closed, but we’d happily stay here again anytime.

The neighboring mill serves inexpensive drinks on weekends and holidays, and the service is very friendly. We’d gladly stay again. The apartment is tastefully furnished, though the brown bathroom could use renovation. The heating only comes on at 8 a.m., which makes breakfast and the bathroom pretty chilly.

The reception staff were very friendly, but that couldn’t make up for the rest. We wanted five quiet, relaxing days, and that fell through. Tractors passed regularly from 6:30 a.m., and the walls were incredibly thin. The property makes a great first impression, but up close it’s very neglected, and the promises on various websites are completely unfounded. The apartment was large and reasonably clean, though the dishes and other amenities were disappointing. The promised rental bikes were rusty, neglected junk, and the grounds were so dirty that there was nowhere to sit and relax outside. What a shame.

The staff were really friendly, and there’s a lovely big garden behind the house. It’s also in an excellent, quiet spot. The kitchen, though, is very cramped and barely equipped, and the shower has a high step to get in. There are no mosquito nets.
