Apartment Hotel Rosenhof

The location is hard to beat.

I had a really lovely winter break last year in the bungalow. I was welcomed warmly and got clear instructions with all the important info. Lidl is only 100 meters away, and the beach is just a few meters through the park. The bungalow had everything I needed, apart from one small snag: the Wi-Fi wasn’t very good. I think that’s because the guest Wi-Fi is in the main building next door. Still, it was a solid 5.0 for me, and I’d recommend it, even with a dog!!

We were delighted with Hotel am Rosenhof and will certainly return. The owners and staff were so friendly, kind, and helpful, and breakfast left nothing to be desired. Our room was very clean and beautifully furnished. The location in Kühlungsborn is excellent too, perfect for relaxing walks along the beach promenade. We stayed over Christmas 2024 and can wholeheartedly recommend the hotel.

We liked room 101, which we booked through Booking.com. It has a modern IKEA style, and the hotel/apartments are in the western part of Kühlungsborn. The breakfast and reception staff were very friendly. There was some confusion about cleaning: we had agreed on daily cleaning, as is standard in hotels, but it seems direct bookings only include a final clean. After we asked, we did get at least three cleanings in ten days. I’d still definitely recommend the place.
