Booking through Upstalsboom went smoothly, and Apartment 324 is equipped really well. The beds were comfortable, the couch was great, and the bathroom was fantastic. For those things, I’d give it 5 stars. There isn’t enough storage in the kitchen, though, and the chairs at the coffee table are a bit small. The indoor climate was a bigger problem. The apartment and the whole building were far too warm, so we kept the balcony door open. The bedroom windows face an atrium, which takes some getting used to. Even left open, they don’t bring in fresh air, and you can hear conversations and the rattling elevator. Apparently the atrium is ventilated and dehumidified by an air conditioning system. Cooking smells were everywhere in the building and in the apartment, although they weren’t coming from us. This really bothered us. I wouldn’t want to be there in winter with the heating on and the windows closed. The underground parking space was a disaster too. We had the last spot, facing the wall.

The view straight out to sea from apartment 229 was stunning, and we really appreciated that the windows opened outward for fresh air. The apartment had everything we needed, from a toaster to a freezer, and the beds were very comfortable. We did have wasps and mosquitoes get inside, so fly screens, especially on the patio door, would have helped since we couldn't leave it open for long. Booking through Meerfun was smooth from start to finish. We were very happy with our stay.

We own a place here and look forward to spending a few weeks each year with our feet up, listening to the waves. The grounds are always cared for, and you can walk to everything. We love it here.

On our third visit, apartment 4.19 was wonderful and, as ever, spotless. The weather was the one disappointment. When our toaster suddenly quit, they quickly brought us a replacement. Really good service. We'll be back.
