Strandperle

We only decided to book a night at the last minute, and from the moment we arrived, we felt welcome. Getting into the room early on a Saturday, before official check-in, was no trouble at all. That was such good service and a lovely way to start the stay. The reception team deserves a special mention. The ladies were warm, friendly, and helpful, and you could tell they put real care into their work. The room was beautiful, spotless, and thoughtfully furnished. Everything had been prepared so well, with a clear eye for quality and detail. We felt completely at ease. Thanks to the whole team for a thoroughly enjoyable night. We'd happily come back.

The team at Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten rescued our holiday. My husband has an allergy, and when we reached the Parkhotel we discovered that dogs are generally allowed there. I hadn't selected a room specifically designated as pet-free when booking, so that was my mistake. The reception at Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten worked hard to find us a room that hadn't previously had a dog in it. They eventually arranged one at Villa Strandperle, and their flexibility and effort were wonderful. Villa Strandperle was charming, clean, and very cozy, and just around 250 meters from the main Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten, close to the beach. We also had breakfast and used the spa area at the main hotel. Breakfast there was outstanding, with a huge choice of fresh food, and the staff were consistently friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed the spa too. A huge thank you to the team for sorting this out and saving our vacation. We'd recommend them wholeheartedly and will definitely return.

The hotel is an easy walk from both the Baltic Sea and the main shopping street, and it's in a great spot in Kühlungsborn. Check-in, breakfast, and the spa are in the main building, around 200 meters away. With good weather, that walk didn't bother us at all, and a bit of exercise was fine. The reception was very friendly, and we even got a voucher for a welcome drink. Our ground-floor room was bright, spacious, and clean, with everything we needed and a bottle of water. It had a large clean bathroom, a balcony, and a comfortable bed. We looked out onto the courtyard. The staff everywhere were friendly and always smiling, and the spa was lovely. Book wellness treatments ahead, as it can be difficult to get one otherwise. Two small drawbacks: the duvets are very thin, and the streetlamp outside meant the room never got properly dark at night.

We've stayed here several times and would gladly come back. Strandperle's rooms are well equipped and quiet, while guests can use the pool, spa, and other amenities at the main Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kühlungsborn. It's a handy option for more affordable rooms without giving up those facilities, including the great breakfast. The location in Kühlungsborn-East is superb, near the pier, beach, and shopping area. Paid parking is right behind the building. One thing to keep in mind: access is only partial for people with mobility impairments or wheelchair users. There's no elevator, and most bathrooms are quite small.
