The Bräustüberl next door has excellent food, and there's a little beer garden that's really charming. The Hotel Schloss-Schmiede is also a great stop for cyclists on the hop-growing loop of the M-Waterways, with secure bike storage, tools, and a charging station for e-bike batteries. My freshly renovated room was spotless and beautifully furnished, and the bathroom was fantastic. Check-in was easy, the Wi-Fi coverage was very good, and breakfast was perfectly adequate. The service was top-notch and the stay was excellent value. I'll definitely be back.

The staff were really friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast buffet was plentiful and nicely laid out. I had a corner double room facing the garages. Even with the window slightly open, I couldn't hear the nearby bell tower. The room was functional and clean, with new furniture and a roomy shower with a rain shower head. It had one or two beds, bedside tables with drawers, a small desk with drawers, a TV, a wardrobe with a safe, and blackout blinds.
