Landhotel Schwärzhof

The historic horse farm is full of charm, with small but really cozy rooms. Breakfast is generous, and the service is very friendly. From 5 p.m., they also serve a small range of delicious, home-style dishes in the restaurant and beer garden, like grandma’s cooking 🤗.

We were a group of nine and stayed for seven days for a motorcycle gathering. We’d book Gunter's storybook guesthouse again in a heartbeat. Some rooms are quite small, and a few things didn’t work properly or were broken, but the service for us was perfect. Breakfast and the packed snacks were excellent, and you just have to love Gunter and Angie, the gem of the place. We felt completely at home. A heartfelt thank you again, especially for trusting us to serve ourselves drinks late in the evening! ; )

We came with several motorcycles and had no trouble parking them in the courtyard. The welcome was warm and the hospitality excellent. Angie is the heart and soul of the place and was always around to help. The owner, Gunter, is wonderfully friendly and knows a huge amount. We’d definitely stay again.

We only dropped in for a snack, but it was delicious and great value for the money. This is a charming, old-fashioned inn, and it was well worth the stop. Highly recommended if you’re after something a little different.
