The receptionist in the morning was impolite. She acted as if bathroom maintenance during our stay was normal, and twice I couldn't get into my room because of it. After mocking me and asking if it was my first time in a hotel, she said non-urgent maintenance during a stay was normal and told me to hang the Do Not Disturb sign. So I did for the rest of my stay, but then couldn't enjoy housekeeping. The rest of the staff were very nice.

The rooms are spacious, and the staff are always available to talk. The location is beautiful, with a good view of the ocean.

I've been to Laboe nine times for Museum Ships Weekend at U995, and the hotel is great. The staff are very good indeed. I'm looking forward to my tenth visit next June.

A perfect spot for visiting Laboe memorial, Princ Eugen platz, and the real German WW2 submarine.
