As a solo traveler, I paid €30 a night for a spacious, very clean room with its own bathroom and breakfast. That's hard to beat. The breakfast view was a lovely way to start each day, and I felt really comfortable here. There's no TV, but after being out all day, I didn't miss one. A perfect place for a hiking holiday or a base for exploring the area. Highly recommended!

The Dengscherz family were attentive, kind, and very friendly. They served a very good breakfast in a warm, family atmosphere. The guesthouse itself is lovely, clean, and well cared for, with a beautiful view of Lam. You can request a TV in the room. Thank you, and best wishes from Wendelstein.

The train station is practically right outside, and the tourist tax includes free travel on the local public transport network. The mountain views are lovely whether the sun is out or the clouds roll in. It's a comfortably family-run place, and the uncomplicated hosts are very, very nice. I actually found the lack of a TV in the room to be a plus. A very good stay for city people looking for peace and quiet and who enjoy hiking. Thank you to the Dengscherz family. Klaus, Rüdiger, and Josef, thank you! A great place to spend the night during the Transbayerwald mountain bike tour. The breakfast was excellent, and the stay was friendly and reasonably priced.
