Chalet St. Lambertus

I stayed in the top-floor Haus A with my dachshund and loved the quiet, natural setting. When the sun came in, the view was breathtaking, and I could use the wood-burning stove whenever I wanted. Chalet Lambertus is a warm, comfortable, luxurious place to unwind from everyday life, especially if you enjoy challenging hikes and great views. I had a wonderful time. Highly recommended, though I almost want to keep it to myself.

The large fenced garden gave us plenty of room to relax with our dog, and apart from birds and other nature sounds, it was wonderfully quiet. We were two adults with a Havanese, visiting the Eifel region for the first time, and Chalet Lambertus had everything we needed. There are lots of varied hiking trails nearby, while shops and good food are available in the surrounding towns. The village restaurant, 5 Mädelhaus, was one option. There are two TVs and an internet radio too. Tessa and Johannes clearly care about making guests comfortable. You can also buy delicious honey there. We’d recommend both the chalet and the Eifel for a relaxing holiday.

The owners were so warm and friendly, it felt like we’d known them for ages. The house is beautifully and thoughtfully furnished, and our dog was right at home in the huge garden. We’ve just come back from a short stay and already want to return, maybe during the lovely Advent season if we can manage it. Thanks for everything ❤️

Apartment B was peaceful, surrounded by beautiful nature, and we’d love to stay again. Our son slept really well in his lovely bed and had a great time playing in the garden with the dog. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed, and the bathroom had a good shower. We parents slept well too, in a spacious bedroom with lots of storage. Highly recommended.
