Pfaelzer Stuben

We eat here regularly and bring our kids along. The owners are so kind and gracious with them, and the food is great. We especially love the Italian dishes. The portions are big, but we somehow manage to finish and waddle home. We’ll be here for a while, so I’m looking forward to getting to know the owners better.

The innkeeper was gracious and made me feel right at home. The place is welcoming and clean, with thoughtful touches that give it a homey feel. You can tell they take pride in the Inn. It’s close to Landstuhl, where I was visiting family, and cost less than the lodging on base where I stayed last year. Breakfast was great: eggs, yogurt, meats, cheeses, bread, juice, coffee, fruit spreads, and hazelnut spread, yum. The Wi-Fi worked fine for WhatsApp video calls home, and there was plenty of hot water, a clean bathroom, and a small fridge in the room. I’ll be back next year. Danke.

Everything was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The owner was very helpful when I arrived and replied to my emails quickly. Since I didn’t have a car, she even picked up groceries for me. I highly recommend it.

The people were nice, and there was plenty for breakfast, with drinks available when needed. The room was pleasant, with a very comfortable bed and soft pillows. But no soap was provided, and since it was a holiday weekend, there was nowhere to buy any. The Wi-Fi was terrible. I couldn’t do banking transactions or download other things, which is really poor for today’s technology.
