The top-floor apartment is a good size, and both apartments have high-quality furnishings. But as a non-smoker, I found the smell unbearable. The top-floor place is a smoker’s apartment, and even after two weeks the living room and bedroom still reeked of stale cigarette smoke. Smoke also came up from the ground floor, especially at night, from the landlords, and the smell on the top floor and in the attic was unbearable. Not being able to air the place out on hot nights was torture. There are no shutters or curtains in the living room, where the sofa bed is, and there’s no air conditioning. The drinking water also smells and tastes bad.

The apartment was very noisy, and the kitchen had only sparse equipment. Worst of all, the heating was extremely unreliable. Even when the outside temperature was only 10 degrees Celsius, it didn’t work at all, despite complaints. That’s unacceptable. What a shame.
