The roof terrace is spacious, furnished, and great for sunbathing, with a large awning when you want shade. The penthouse itself is beautiful, clearly laid out, and has a practical floor plan. The landlords were friendly and accommodating. Still, the apartment felt impersonal. In the five-star rentals we've stayed in before, there was always a microwave and enough dishes that we only had to run the dishwasher every other day. More seriously, the penthouse is right next to a busy railway line, and the noise bothered us a lot. It's a lovely place, but not a good fit for holidaymakers looking for peace and quiet. Because of the noise, we have to take off two points.

Breakfast is about a 15-minute walk away at the hotel, which was a little inconvenient and cost a star. But it was excellent: small and refined, with lots of freshly prepared items from the friendly owners. I looked forward to it each morning, and they always tried to make our experience pleasant. The apartments are part of Hotel zum Winkel. Each one is spacious, cozy, clean, and modern, with bathrooms in perfect condition. Wi-Fi was fast enough to work after the trade fair, and underground parking is included for guests arriving by car. I was completely satisfied. This was my second stay, and it won't be my last.

The train runs right in front of the building, about every 15 minutes during the day, so anyone who spends a lot of time in the apartment should be prepared for the noise. We were out and about a lot, so it didn't bother us. The penthouse was very modern and had everything we needed. The elevator from the underground garage to the third floor was handy with heavy shopping or for older people, and the landlords were very friendly.

We could hear the train, but it didn't bother us. The apartment was lovely, had everything we needed, and was in a very good location. We'd definitely book again, and recommend it.
