The friendly, helpful staff and the hotel's great spot near the beach were real positives. The supermarket was an easy walk away too. The station was a bit farther, but carrying our luggage there wasn't a big issue for us. We booked a suite and a double room for Pentecost weekend, and both looked nice. The cleaning, though, was really poor. There was thick dust all over, especially around the bathroom vents and shower, and we even found the previous guest's socks under the TV cabinet in the suite's living room. Breakfast was simple and had something for everyone, so we could start the day well. Still, the bread roll and cold cut choices could be better. We enjoyed our time on Langeoog and were satisfied overall, but the value for money didn't quite work for us. We'd choose another hotel next time.

The western dunes are nearby, though the town center isn't especially close. Breakfast was good, the staff were friendly, and the rooms were practical. Some furniture is showing its age, but the lighting and technology are new. If you want somewhere quiet and aren't after the town's bustle, this suits you well.
