Langeoog itself is beautiful and so well cared for. We noticed how clean everything was across the island. Since cars aren't allowed, you take the ferry over, then the train into town. The whole system is so well organized that we never had to wait, and the ferry and train connections worked beautifully together. At the Suiten-Hotel Mare, our suite was excellent and had everything we needed, from a teapot and small dishwasher to a shopping bag for groceries. We ate at the hotel restaurant every night because it was the easiest option, and the food was fantastic. The hotel name might suggest it's right by the beach, but it's actually about a 5-10 minute walk away. We especially appreciated how peaceful it was, with no noise from outside or other guests. The staff did their best to help whenever our German wasn't enough to explain what we needed. We loved our stay and would consider coming back.

Our dog was comfortable here too. We loved the suite's atmosphere, with stylish, cozy furnishings that were also very practical. The seating, bed, and bathroom worked well, not just looked nice. It's a fantastic hotel, and the staff were very friendly.

The staff aren't to blame, but the whole place feels focused on chasing stars instead of making guests happy. It looks like something from a catalog, with energy-saving mode and all show but no substance. The fitness room has three machines, or was it four? The spa only opens when the day is nearly over, unless you pay a hefty extra. And buy your coffee pods at Aldi beforehand. For what it costs, the value is outrageous. It's so outdated.

The food was a real highlight, both breakfast and dinner were highly recommended. Our stay was fantastic. The hotel is very clean, and the rooms are modern, comfortable, and spacious. When we lost our room key, a friendly staff member came right away and sorted it out quickly and easily. The service was attentive and welcoming. We'll definitely be back! 😊
