The whole Christmas dinner felt like mass catering. We waited for our table, so ordering was delayed, and the service felt chaotic. The servers seemed grumpy and stressed, which came across as unfriendly. Food arrived in stages, probably hard to avoid on Christmas Day, but it was a shame the children at our table were served last. The restrooms were very old. My toilet wouldn't flush, and there was a cable sticking out of the wall by the sink. It had electrical tape around it, at least, but the overall impression matters.

We came for a meal and really enjoyed it. The menu was excellent, the food delicious, and the staff, including the owner, were super friendly. Great value too. We'll definitely be back.

A pleasant breakfast and a spotless room with a modern bathroom. It's a lovely country inn, and the service was very friendly.

The atmosphere was wonderful and everything we ate was delicious. We had a reservation for nine, but no one mentioned on the phone that only game and fish would be available that Saturday. The owner handled the situation well and managed to offer us a few extra dishes. Thanks to the whole team, we'll definitely return.
