I stayed here on weekdays for five months while doing assembly work, and the rooms were high quality and very well equipped. The village is quiet, with direct access to the forest for walks or bike rides, which I often took. Nicole is flexible and does her best to accommodate everyone. The couple are wonderfully friendly and a bit crazy. I'd gladly return anytime 🤩👍!

The guesthouse is beautifully furnished, clean, well looked after, easy to reach by public transport, and in a stunning location for a really good price. The owner was friendly from the start, and we clicked right away. I had a wonderful time and will definitely make the trip back from my lovely Erzgebirge region. Already looking forward to it. Thank you so much!

The rooms were modern, clean, and well maintained, and both bathrooms were nicely furnished and in excellent shape. There's a fully equipped kitchen with a lovely dining area, plus the option to use a washer and dryer. The chilled drinks selection is also commendable. Thanks to the owners, I enjoyed many lovely barbecue evenings during my nearly year-long stay at Pension Merkel while working away from home. Nicole and Falco are extremely kind, friendly, and helpful. If work and time allow, I'd love to return. Thanks for everything!

I felt right at home here. The accommodation is impeccably maintained, very modern, and has everything in good order, with very friendly owners too. Nothing to complain about. I'd gladly stay again, whether for a getaway or business. :-)

The two owners made us feel welcome straight away, and even a last-minute change of plans or cancellation was no problem. Our room was lovely and clean, while the shared areas were inviting and very well kept. The value for money is unbeatable. I'd give it six stars if I could. If you're looking for top-notch accommodation, stay at Pension Merkel!
