We love sitting on this terrace in Laufenburg. The river views are lovely, the service is great, and the food is truly amazing.

The hotel was great value, and both the food and service were very good. The Helles was good too. If you're arriving after dark, look for the sign just off the highway to find the place. Prost! :)

We had a wonderful dinner on the Terasse, and the staff were so friendly. With its great location and lovely view, it's a lovely choice for a romantic weekend. We'll be back soon!

Our suite had a huge deck looking out over the Rhine River, and the room was spacious by European hotel standards. We loved staying at the Alte Post (Hotel) in Laufenburg. It also puts you close to the historic old town and the pedestrian bridge over the Rhine River into Switzerland, with beautiful views too.

We came back to the Alte Post for a second stay, and it remains a really good value. The rooms are roomy, clean, and simply furnished. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the Greek restaurant has an excellent range of beers. You can also cross the bridge and pop into Switzerland.
