Ferienhof Zinn

We could see chickens, rabbits, cows, and cats in the barn, which was lovely. The apartment had all we needed, including a very well-equipped kitchen for making our own meals. It's a relaxing place, and there's a courtyard playground for kids with a slide, swings, trampoline, and soccer goal.

Even with changeable weather, we had plenty of ideas for things to do nearby thanks to the thoughtful, well-written information folder. We had a wonderful stay at Ferienhof Zinn and will definitely come back. We rented two apartments and were glad we could also use the common room. It worked well for having breakfast and dinner together, with a comprehensive kitchen and lots of glasses, cutlery, and other supplies for a group. The children enjoyed spending time there too, since games and toys were available. There was lots to explore around the farm: a little football pitch with a goal, a playground with a trampoline, and ride-on toys for children of different ages. Feeding the animals morning and evening was a highlight. It was lovely to see how enthusiastically all the children joined in.

The Zinn family made us feel so welcome during our lovely family weekend. Our two children had a fantastic time, from riding the tractor with Otto and taking a guided ride on horseback to helping in the cowshed, petting rabbits, and playing with the kittens. They loved the playground too. The apartments were cozy and very well equipped. Thanks so much for everything. We'll definitely return, and we're already missing the delicious homemade jam!

We spent a week using the farm as our base for trips to the summer toboggan run and treetop walkway at Hoherodskopf, the Schotten bird park, the Fulda planetarium, and the outdoor pool, which we visited several times. Back at the farm, our two daughters, aged 4 and 6, loved feeding the cows and playing on the playground and trampoline. Our older daughter also had two blissful pony rides. We parents even got to relax on the garden bench while the kids played, despite their seemingly endless energy. This was our second summer stay at the Zinn holiday farm, and we had another wonderful holiday. The apartments are cozy and well equipped, maybe almost too well equipped since we didn't turn on the TV all week. We can absolutely recommend it.
