Ferienwohnungen Meerwiefke

Mrs. Siems, the charming caretaker, gave us a warm welcome and took time to explain everything. She had things well in hand. We stayed in the smaller of Meerwiefke's two apartments, Lütt Meerwiefke, in the first week of July. It was cozy, spacious, exceptionally well cared for, and practical. The layout included a hallway, large living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and storage room. It was fully equipped, right down to coffee filters, cling film, rock candy, and plenty more. We also had a private parking space, and soon felt settled in. The setting is peaceful and attractive, with little traffic and charming lanes. The busy old town is no more than a five-minute walk away, with Insa's Pharmacy and Habedank's Funeral Home to see. Bünting's Tea Museum and the Coloniale are close by too.

There was just one occasional nuisance, a tenant living there. Apart from that, we were warmly welcomed, enjoyed the spacious apartment, slept well in the comfortable beds, and found the bathroom quite adequate. We'd gladly stay there again if we travel to this area.

We've now stayed at Meerwiefke twice, and I'm sure we'll return. Everything was spotless, thanks to Mrs. Siems, and the spacious apartment had a charming feel. Bed linen, towels, and final cleaning were included. You're less than a five-minute walk from the old town. Five stars, thoroughly deserved. Highly recommended.

There are toys and games for kids, plus a private parking lot. The place is cozy and has everything you need, making it a lovely base for exploring Leer 😌 We'll be back!
