I was in Leer for the holidays and went looking for somewhere to have dinner. I found this cozy restaurant near the water. It was full, so I sat at the bar, but I could still have a conversation without being bothered by the other diners’ noise. The place was full, but not crowded. The pizza was really good, and I had an alcohol-free beer.

I’ve eaten at this restaurant over the years and it had never let me down before, but this visit was disappointing. I picked the BBQ chicken pizza, which was covered in BBQ sauce and topped with pieces of chicken gyros. It wasn’t tasty at all. I ate it anyway because I was with business clients.

The apartment is cheap and super luxurious, really awesome. It has all the utilities, and the staff are caring. I recommend it.

The rooms are modern and welcoming, and the place has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The food at the restaurant was really tasty too, so I recommend it. My only complaint is the water in the bottles offered to guests. It had a strange, unpleasant smell. I’m no specialist, but water shouldn’t smell, especially not bad.

The service was good, and the pizza came fairly close to the Italian kind. I’d give it four stars considering it’s in Germany. The one thing that was off was the mushrooms, which weren’t fresh.
