Great central location, good Wi-Fi, a kettle and a free minibar with cold drinks. But the room was really poor. The shower is right beside the bed, the toilet is in a cupboard, and parking is nearly impossible.

The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in, and the location is fantastic. The host was so gracious. Just be prepared for the stairs.

A great base for exploring Leer, and I’d definitely return. My room was really something special, with a little study and a lovely kitchenette. The hotel has some beautiful, unusual rooms, and breakfast was delicious, with a freshly cooked egg each day.
