I paid for four nights, but the room had no hot water or heating, and I’m now having to find another hotel with decent conditions. I’m still waiting for my refund. To check in, we first had to walk 800 meters uphill to hotel Abernof, where the pool and restaurant are too. When we arrived, we then waited another hour for the room to be cleaned. A horrible experience.

The rooms were clean and had a kitchen, and the food was good. It’s a nice place to stay, with a beautiful view.

Our room was spacious, had a balcony, and was kept clean throughout. The hotel is in a lovely, peaceful spot in the Bavarian Forest, and we enjoyed the food and drinks. The staff were very friendly and happy to accommodate special requests. We’d gladly come back and recommend it.
