Even during the pandemic, the cleanliness and precautions here stood out as the best I saw over my three-week trip, with masks, sanitizer and distancing all handled well. The Sulzbachhof is a cosy family-run guest-house, and the family were so thoughtful and friendly. I arrived after dinner time, but they still made me a delicious meal with green beans from their own garden. My room, like the rest of the place, was spotless and in perfect shape. The big bed was comfortable, and the fresh air and quiet countryside made for a really restorative night's sleep.

We felt right at home with the Wilhelm family. The service and breakfast were just right, and our room was lovely and spotless. Thanks so much for such a nice stay. We'll definitely return if we're in the area, and I'd happily recommend it.

I was stuck there because of car trouble, and the hosts were incredibly kind about helping me out. In the morning they printed a bus timetable for me and even gave me a lift to the stop. Thanks again! My wife and I are planning to spend a week here next year.

We ended up finding this lovely place about 20 km from Rothenburg ob der Tauber after everything there was booked for our Christmas market weekend, and we were so pleased we did. It's a peaceful guesthouse run by a couple who clearly care a lot about it. Mrs. Wilhelm was wonderfully helpful and shared plenty of ideas for things to see nearby. The rooms were roomy, comfortable, and very well equipped. Breakfast was generous and delicious, served in a shared room. We felt completely at home and would love to come back.
