A family of up to six should find it comfortable. The place is clean and pleasant, with a kitchen that has a microwave, coffee maker, and kettle, plus a TV and radio. There’s also an outdoor play area and a pool for summer.

The private garden and parking were great, and there’s a large gazebo, things for children to enjoy, and a REWE right next door. With a dog, it’s handy to have a river nearby for walks. As I understand it, they rent out two rooms under the roof, so the sloped ceilings aren’t too much of an issue.

Everything was clean, and the place covered the basics, with an oven, kettle, coffee maker, and microwave. The downside is that the entrance door is always open.

The accommodation is lovely and quiet, and the beds are comfortable. I also liked the covered seating spot in the big garden, and you can barbecue there if you arrange it. One thing to be aware of: although the listing says there are three bedrooms for up to six people, there are actually two. One has a double bed, the other has two single beds next to each other, and there’s a pull-out sofa bed in the kitchen. The bathroom and toilet can only be reached through a door in the kitchen. There’s no hallway, so getting there means going through the next bedroom and kitchen.
