I liked the free tea and coffee in the lobby, and the pool table and darts were a nice extra. The location is great, the price is reasonable, and the people were friendly. My room had a strange smell, probably from the kitchen sink drain, and the air conditioning didn’t really work. I was also woken early by the maid asking if I wanted the room refreshed. A door tag to say whether guests want to be disturbed might help.

The new pool, darts, and lounge and reading space in the Keller made a real difference, and the kids loved them. Rooms are spacious, well equipped, and air conditioned. There’s complimentary coffee and a bar with reasonable prices. The location is excellent. I’d confidently recommend it. 🙂

The comfortable hall, complimentary coffee, and chess are a lovely bonus. The rooms are clean and pleasant, and the staff are agreeable and efficient. It’s close to the main train station and ideally placed for exploring the city. Apartment Central Leipzig is far better than other places I’ve experienced in this price range.

The front desk staff were VERY helpful and spoke English. I’ve never tipped hotel front desk staff before, and tipping isn’t common in Germany, but I did here. The place is clean, with very comfortable beds and a fully equipped small kitchen. It’s close to the train station but far enough away to avoid the noise. I come for the many music and art festivals, and fall in love with the city and its people.

The kitchen unit is well equipped, but there’s no basic seasoning or cooking oil. If you’re only planning to cook once or twice, you’ll need to bring or buy all the basics. Otherwise, my partner and I had a wonderful stay. It was cosy, comfortable, and clean, and the lobby with free tea and coffee is lovely. The area is great, with a good bakery/café nearby and both the center and Rosenthal park an easy walk away.
