The bathroom was the worst part. Some of its floor tiles were damaged and made it look very run-down, and when I showered, the drain was blocked. Water spread across the whole bathroom, building up quite high before I noticed, since the shower tray sat perhaps 1 or 2 cm below the rest of the floor. The beds are too short for anyone over 1.90 m to sleep comfortably. Elsewhere, the room felt dated and wasn't very big, though I don't mean that as a complaint. The arrival hall looked appealing after I read the reviews, and I liked the inner courtyard too.

For 70 euros a night, it's okay. If you're spending more, I'd choose somewhere else. The location is so-so, about 3 km from the city center, with a direct S3 connection to the central station, though the nearby restaurants are pretty bad. It has more of a student-house feel than a hostel. The rooms fall somewhere between Ibis budget and Ibis comfort, if you know those, and breakfast is decent for the price. My room smelled because the bathroom vent seemed to bring in stale air, and the bed was as cheap as they come. The receptionist seemed clearly unhappy to be there.

As a volunteer firefighter, I attended an event honoring Leipzig's volunteer firefighters here. The food was perfect, the host was very kind, and the place was great. Nothing to complain about.

About 15 minutes from the City Center and close to the tram, with very good conditions and breakfast. I'd recommend it for a business trip or a holiday.

For business guests, it's a clean, good hotel. I wouldn't recommend it to tourists, since Telekom built it to host seminars and training sessions.
