Gwuni B&B

We were six as a family and stayed in three rooms, with two bathrooms and a kitchen. The ceilings were massively high, the beds comfortable, and the rooms nicely appointed and quiet, so we all slept well. Leipzig’s a great location for a stay. We arrived for late check-in after reception had closed, and had to go through the smoking lounge below, which felt a little odd with kids. A really nice host helped us find where we needed to be. When we came to reception the next day during opening hours, the area felt very professional.

The garden was a lovely spot for a meal or a beer, and the hotel itself was quiet. My room was clean, modern, and bright, with a fan built into the light, a touch mirror in the bathroom, and a little seating corner with chairs and tables. The place looks nearly refurbished. The people were really nice and friendly, and the quality for the price was truly excellent. One of my best hotel experiences, five stars well deserved.

Big rooms with lots of charm and patina, good prices, and nice staff. We’ve stayed here twice. The rooms are old but good, and the place has a lot of charme 😊 Still, it’s too loud and not clean enough for us, so next time we visit Leipzig we’ll choose somewhere else.

This was a horrific experience. I booked through Booking.com, but the rooms shown in the listing were completely different from what I found when I arrived. It was the worst accommodation I’ve seen in Germany. I asked relatives to pick me up and slept on their couch instead.
