The room was spacious and pleasant, but the hairdryer was a pain to use. It ran for about two minutes, shut off, then needed several minutes to cool before it would work again. The reservation trouble was stressful and unnecessary. I tried to change my booking through a third-party platform, but hotel staff gave me incorrect information about whether they could handle the change. They later charged a no-show fee and cancelled the reservation without my consent. When I got in touch, both the hotel and the platform passed responsibility back and forth. At the front desk, staff blamed me emotionally and raised their voices, saying I'd misunderstood or shouldn't have booked through a third party. It came across as poor training and no accountability. Staff were generally polite, and I did eventually get the fee refunded, but it was still a bad experience. The hotel needs better training and more accurate handling of information and guest requests. I hope this was an isolated incident. Travelers should be careful, because the hotel may blame customers even when a request was approved by its own staff or sent by email before the deadline. They seemed set on saying I hadn't done enough. It also makes me wonder why they use third-party booking platforms if they can't manage these situations properly.

The service was the best thing about this place. It's also very well located for train and bus travel, with comfortable beds and a great breakfast. If I come back to the area, I'd definitely stay here again.

You can get here from the station exit in about three minutes, which is handy for a late arrival or an early train. My room was simple, clean, spacious, and comfortable. It faced the street and station, but I didn't have any noise trouble. Maybe the closed windows helped in winter, or maybe growing up in a big city made me used to it. At the right price, this is good value.

The welcome was warm, and my room was very clean with a comfortable bed. It was pretty loud, though, so I had to shut the window at night. They provide earplugs, which was a nice touch.
