My room and the shared bathroom were both very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was great. There’s also a big, quiet garden where you can relax and read.

I cancelled the booking and asked for a refund, but the owner never replied. During booking, it wasn’t clear that I’d have to share a bathroom with strangers. I also couldn’t find the “hotel”: there was no house number or labeled doorbell, so I had to call to ask where to go.

The hotel was very cold, even with the radiators turned all the way up, and I do not recommend staying here under any circumstances. There’s no hotel sign, just a high fence along the street without any signage. I only found out at check-in that my room reservation had been cancelled. The administration hadn’t told me beforehand, which I consider a terrible way to treat guests, and the money had been taken from my account.

Even for one night, I found this place questionable. An old apartment has been carelessly turned into shared accommodation, and it feels outdated, uncomfortable, and overpriced. A few pictures on the walls can’t make up for the old furniture and cabinets from the last century. Calling it “Arthaus” seems dubious. Update: When people post negative reviews, their stored data is used, and customers are sometimes simply called.
