There was so much choice on the menu, it was unbelievable, with fish, meat, and pasta. We had a great meal with very tasty meat and sauces, and everything came as we asked. We were five adults, a four-year-old child, and a baby, and it didn't cost much. They had coloring and a special inexpensive menu for the child, though it was too much food for him, so he had pizza. One thing missing from the table was vegetables.

The rooms are a little dated, but they're spacious and clean, with good beds. Breakfast comes with the room and had lots of choices. Nice hotel, I'd recommend it.

The Wi-Fi is very weak in the room, and the old-fashioned key makes opening and locking the door a challenge. My hotel room was small, though it had a small balcony with a view. Breakfast was okay, but the only hot item was a warmed boiled egg. Coffee and tea aren't set out on the tables, you have to order them from the service staff, and sometimes wait for your morning coffee.

We didn't enjoy our steaks, and telling two waitresses didn't lead to anyone doing anything to make it right. We still paid the full bill. I wouldn't recommend it.

Hotel Weis is on Römerstraße, where you'll find most of the restaurants in Leiwen. The service is good, and the food is delicious.
