After walks in the area, I’ve been stopping here every so often for years. It’s a place I’m always happy to return to. Even with plenty of hikers and cyclists coming through, the café stays peaceful and has a lovely feel. The menu’s short, but the food is good, the house-brewed beer is very good, and the cakes are divine. Definitely recommend it.

I’ve loved their craft beer since they started brewing it themselves a few years back. I finally tried the cheeseburger today, and as someone who’s fussy about burgers, I can’t believe I’d been missing out. It’s probably the best cheeseburger I’ve ever had. Love this place!

The owner served us and the other tables, and really made the visit special. The food is simple, well made, and the cakes are excellent. It’s also a perfect spot for lunch on a walk from Lenggries along the river and back.

We stopped for coffee on the way to the waterfalls at Jachenau and again on the way back. The coffee tasted lovely and the cakes were delicious. P.S. Most places in Jachenau are closed on Tuesdays.
