Hotel Guenter

We only stayed one night, and it was a pleasant visit with lots of parking. Charging my EV was easy, and my family and I especially enjoyed the breakfast. Great value for the price.

The bed was very comfortable, and the rooms were quite large, with a pleasant old-fashioned design. In September it felt a bit cold, and noise carried very loudly from other rooms, which was uncomfortable. There was also an unpleasant smell when we checked in. Apart from that, things were decent and convenient, thank you.

I found this hotel near the Autobahn by chance. It's officially a 3-star place, but the welcome, service and quality felt far above that. The room was clean, quiet and nicely furnished, with comfortable beds. The staff were attentive, and I was able to have breakfast exceptionally early. The buffet had great quality and variety, well beyond what I'd expect from a 3-star hotel. I was thrilled with the experience. Thank you, this place deserves a higher rating.

The next day went better once the reception staff had changed, but the poor start left us feeling that a concrete discount was the least they could offer. We stayed until the evening. I also wouldn't recommend the room we were given, it wasn't worth the money. We arrived in the middle of the night, exhausted after hours of driving, and the receptionist was very unfriendly. He gave us wrong information about breakfast and departure times. It seemed as if being there to serve a guest was too much for him. I travel often and stay at many hotels, but I've never had such an unwelcome reception or met such unwillingness to help. When we arrived too late for breakfast, the staff didn't look kindly on us either.
