Hellinghaus

The landlord was very friendly and helpful, and renting here felt like a safe bet. The Strandläufer holiday apartment sleeps four and has a direct view of the harbor. It’s on the second floor, and there’s no elevator, though given the building’s age one probably couldn’t be added. There’s a sauna in the basement for a fee, and the apartment comes with a beach chair in the first row, about 300 m away. Highly recommended.

Everything we needed was already there, and the place was spotless. A really cozy apartment with lovely attention to detail. I’d happily recommend it.

Being right by the harbor and beach makes the location wonderfully central. We stayed in the "Wellenreiter" this year, and it was just as tastefully furnished and spotless as the other apartments we’ve stayed in over the years. The Lehmann family are so warm and welcoming, and they make sure you have everything you might need. Another lovely visit to Hellinghaus with them. We always enjoy coming back :-).

Wyk’s lively shopping street and promenade are right outside, but the apartment stays quiet. Free parking is an easy walk away. We had a lovely weekend here and could easily imagine spending a whole holiday in this cozy, nicely furnished place. It worked perfectly for four people and our dog. The house is great for children, with play areas and more, and there’s a peaceful spot downstairs with books and games. There’s also a small sauna area, so you have what you need to unwind.
