No matter the time of year, Thomasmühle Ferienwohnungen is an amazing place to stay. You can wander around at sunrise or sunset and take in the nature, or spend time fishing at the lake, walking the endless trails, and visiting the many castles, palaces, and gardens within an easy day trip by train or car. You can explore the region’s history within a 1-2 hour drive and still get back for a BBQ on the porch by the lake. Town is only a few minutes’ walk away for restaurants, shopping, and museums. The hosts live on site and go out of their way to make your stay amazing. They know the area well and help with just about anything. The guests I’ve met who return year after year say a lot about how enjoyable it is here. I’m looking forward to coming back. A thousand stars!!

We spent a few days in this lovely spot in a quiet village. The lake is picturesque and a nice place to relax, have a BBQ, or fish. The owners are extremely kind and helpful. It would be a great place to stay for a few days or a few weeks.

The landlady and her husband were wonderful. They welcomed me like family and went far beyond what I’d expect at other hotels or apartments. While I was quarantined, they helped me get groceries and arrange doctor appointments!

A beautiful location with lovely amenities, right beside a very nice little fishing lake. There are big skies and so many birds to watch. Family owned and operated, with unbelievable hospitality, comfort, and peace. Exceptional.
