It’s a clean, cosy place with a balcony, set away from the city bustle. Cologne is about 15-20 minutes away and Dusseldorf around 35 minutes. The room size is pretty good, the shower was warm, and the towels were fresh. They provide cosmetics, which is a nice touch. Parking right in front is free, as are the coffee and fruit at reception. I’d definitely recommend this property.

We had a lovely meal, and the service was excellent throughout our stay. We called ahead to say we’d arrive just before the restaurant closed, and they assured us it would be fine. The only small issue was that the rooms were quite warm, so we had to open all the windows.

The rooms were very dirty and full of bugs, making this a terrible stay at a hotel in Germany. I told the staff several times, but they never replaced the toilet paper. They said breakfast was included, then charged us for it when we checked out. We were in a hurry and didn’t have time to argue. An absolute disaster.

The manager was the best I’ve ever met, so friendly and good at looking after guests. My husband and I had a peaceful night at this beautiful, very neat hotel. Breakfast was very good too. We’ll come back.

Check-in and checkout were easy, the staff were friendly, and the place was clean, modern, spacious, and comfortable. It was a great stay and good value. I’d recommend it to anyone staying in the area. The restaurant looks great, so I’ll have to try it next time.
