There’s room for a big group here, with two dining rooms seating 18 comfortably and a conservatory that opens onto a balcony for eating outside. The enclosed garden is large and has play equipment, plenty of cushioned chairs, and a big BBQ. Inside, the living room has a comfortable sofa and armchairs, and the kitchen is very well stocked, including an induction cooktop, dishwasher, lots of crockery and pans, and two fridges. A lovely, spacious holiday home with pretty much everything you could need.

The location works well for trips to the Moselle River, but that was about the only positive for us. The house was unbelievably dirty. I’d already seen the bad reviews and didn’t expect much, but it was still awful. The backsplash tiles by the sink were splattered with mess from earlier guests, and after crawling under the table my son came out covered in dust. The sofas looked like they’d been dragged in from a dump, while the garden furniture and climbing frame were filthy and nearly falling apart. If cleanliness matters to you, absolutely don’t book this place.

We had 6 adults and 4 children with us, and the house was simply fantastic. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen were all great, with nothing missing. There was a playground and a Grillparzer too. It’s close enough to the Moselle, but away from all the hustle and bustle. I’d happily recommend it again and again.

The landlord was uncooperative, and the place was totally DIRTY. There were moths in the living room, though luckily we didn’t use it. The bathroom towel racks were dirty, as were the kitchen cupboards and dishes. Not really recommended.
