Hotel Montana Limburg

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and large. It's reasonably well placed for walking to the historic town centre, and there was plenty of parking. On the quiet side of the building, it's quiet enough inside. The two drawbacks: the hotel is awkward to find, with easy-to-miss signs even when using GPS, and if you're outside or on the wrong side of the building, you can't miss that it's right next to the motorway.

The rooms and bathrooms are nice, but that's about it. WiFi is horrible, and there's no air conditioning or elevator, let alone things you might expect from a hotel, like a bar, gym or pool. There's nothing around it either. If you just need somewhere to sleep, it'll do. But for relaxing, your choices are basically to walk along the freeway or sleep. Wouldn't recommend it.

A decent overnight hotel, especially if you're near the Autobahn. The breakfast was very good, staff were friendly and helpful, beds were good, rooms were a good size, and the traffic and outside noise stayed out well with the windows shut. The location was good too. My one suggestion would be to put a kettle and cups in the room for tea or coffee.

The rooms are small and have no air conditioning, and the showers leaked all over the floor. WiFi didn't work either. For a double room, having just one key was annoying. It would've been nice to be told that you have to lock the room again from the inside at night.
