I booked through Booking.com and included a couple of questions to clear up some details. They accepted the reservation but never answered. Over roughly a month I followed up twice through Booking.com, emailed the hotel directly twice, and even asked my son, who lives in Germany, to call and get them to reply. I sent every message in both German and English, but heard nothing at all. In the end I cancelled because I didn’t feel confident the business was professional or trustworthy. It was very disappointing to get so little support, especially since all the other places we stayed were very helpful.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are really friendly. The owner always makes customers feel welcome. It’s right by the river and the old bridge, and the food is plentiful and wonderful.
