It’s a great base for short or long hikes around Hölzer Köpfchen hill, the glider airfield, and the area around Lindlar. Just be ready for some climbs and descents on most routes 😉. You’ll need to check whether the restaurant will be open again in summer.

My family and I went last Sunday hoping to have coffee and ice cream, but found that this lovely restaurant seems to be permanently closed. A local told us, “There’s no restaurant here anymore.” Such a shame.

I love this beautiful landscape, especially when the weather’s good! There are lots of hiking trails that are easy to get to, which makes both me and my loyal companion 🐕 🏀 Jo so happy!!! 👍🙏💋 I’d highly recommend it to anyone who loves nature. 👍😇

The Lindlar area around the gliding airfield is lovely for hiking, and we had great weather. It’s a shame the restaurant is closed.
