The mattresses were comfortable and very good, which matters a lot to me. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, the hosts super friendly, and breakfast was ample. Everything was very clean too. The ventilation was the one small nuisance because it was very loud, but otherwise it was all great. I highly recommend it.

We were very comfortable here. The beds were comfortable, the hosts friendly, and breakfast was good. In the evenings, you can also get very tasty snacks if you want. It's a lovely, quiet hotel, and I can recommend it without reservation.

The activity card included with our booking was a great bonus, letting us use many leisure activities in the area for free. Our room was very clean and well equipped, with a lovely balcony and magnificent view. Parking right outside the hotel was free, and the value for money was unbeatable. I spent one night here and was delighted by the cozy, authentic feel of the traditionally and lovingly furnished hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome. Breakfast had a great selection, all fresh and delicious. I'd highly recommend it and would definitely return when I'm in the Bavarian Forest.
