The hostess was very friendly and liked chatting with guests. We stayed four nights and found the rooms fine, the price unbeatable for what we got, and breakfast good. There was an egg every morning, plus cold cuts, cheese, quark, honey, jam, Nutella, orange juice, and coffee. I asked for a little tap water each day, and from the second day it was already waiting on the table. Very thoughtful. We’ll be back next time we’re in the Bavarian Forest.

We had a relaxing weekend at this lovely, quiet guesthouse, with a direct view of the Arber mountain. There are about 200 places to spend your free time nearby, or you can just enjoy the peace and beauty of the Bavarian Forest. Our room was spotless, nicely furnished, and just the right size, with a TV, Wi-Fi, a very comfortable bed, shower, and balcony overlooking a fantastic view. Breakfast was great, the hostess was super friendly, and the price was very reasonable. Thanks for a lovely weekend. I can wholeheartedly recommend it, and we’ll see you next time.

We came for dinner, and I finally got my pork knuckle. The food was 🔨, the prices were OK, and the service was especially courteous to our grandson. We’re staying a few more days and will be back.

If you want peace away from traffic noise, this is a great place to stay. The guesthouse is tidy, the hostess is friendly, and breakfast is good and plentiful. It’s also ideally placed for hikes towards the Arber, Zwercheck, and Osser mountains.
