The setting and views are beautiful, with the Nürburgring and other interesting places within an hour's drive. Hillesheim, the next town over, has the shops and other things you need. The accommodation itself is very well furnished, clean, spacious, and has large bedrooms. Tea, coffee, shower gel and body lotion are all provided. The owners live next door in the same building and are very friendly. It's very quiet out in the middle of nowhere, though the grandkids play outside, so it isn't completely silent. The cows in the adjacent field also mean there are lots of flies around, so be ready with a fly swat! The kitchen water is only lukewarm, and the shower could be hotter too, though it's manageable. The Wi-Fi is poor and intermittent, and there's no 4G reception, so it's not a good fit if you depend on internet access.

The apartment is beautifully furnished, and the hosts are the best. It's set in the middle of nowhere, with lots of hiking trails around. Kids have a play barn, plenty of pedal vehicles, and sledding in the courtyard in winter. There's even an electric vehicle charging station. Simply fantastic!

The Oll family gave us a warm welcome, and everything was wonderfully clean as soon as we arrived. We've often found places elsewhere that weren't nearly so clean, so hats off to them! We had a wonderful family holiday here with our three children. It's a lovely, quiet base for fun outings nearby or further afield. From our balcony terrace, we enjoyed beautiful sunsets every day. The house also stayed wonderfully cool indoors during the heatwave. The children were happily occupied with all the toys, go-karts, table tennis and more. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed staying here. It's a lovely house with nice furnishings and a good standard, and the owners are very friendly. The shower was a bit of a drawback, as it only gives cold or extremely hot water. The location is truly in the middle of nowhere, though that makes it a great place to relax and go hiking. Highly recommended for that.
