The staff were so friendly and helpful, even with an unusual special request. The rooms were quiet, very clean and tidy, and seemed recently refurbished, with a modern look. Prices were very reasonable too. With the local Spreewald sights nearby and Berlin just a quick train ride away, I can definitely recommend this hotel. Do visit!

There’s plenty of parking, and the rooms are clean with comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent. The restaurant and bar looked great, though I didn't get to eat there.

The place is clean and has the basics covered, including a good shower, dark blinds, and a good breakfast, but it feels very basic for the price. We were charged an extra 16 euros per day for breakfast, though nobody had told us it wasn't included or that we could cancel it. We booked by phone and weren't told then, or at check-in, about the added cost or that we needed to say the night before if we didn't want breakfast. On our last day we hadn't eaten breakfast and only noticed the charge when paying. They wouldn't remove it, saying we should have told them earlier. We didn't have time to argue, but I don't think that's okay, especially when they hadn't explained it beforehand.

The service was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and spacious, and the food was fantastic. This quirky hotel gave me the best stay I've had in Germany so far. I'd thoroughly recommend it.
